This series of studies challenges the idea that using a machine means the output will be consistent. Starting with a base design, different types of drawing media were used on a Shapeoko (similar to a pen plotter) to create different results. After observing the unique nature of some of these (a string dipped in ink, a blue gel pen, paint markers...), new patters were devised to showcase their different characteristics, resulting in a wide variety of drawings.
