The most famous cuisines in the world are more than what's on the plate. They result from a careful blending of the earth, climate, and people of a specific location - simply put, they are tied to their land, their terrior. But what if the opposite was true - one single dish could be the basis for the design of an entirely new ecosystem. These collages are me dipping my toes in the question of how our food relates to it's land from all phases - from the growing of the food itself, to asking how we get the materials with which to cook it or where the future of food is going. I'm excited to see where this start takes me.
